MLM Sucks!!!

Holy crap, so I was thumbing thru the current issue of METRO magazine and in their self-styled section, they had a profile on Joe Syverson. The profile headline said something to the affect of .."check the style of local millionaire". My alarms went off immediately..."local millionaire" what kind of douchebag brags about their net worth in a magazine?

Answer: someone that want to broadcast his "success" to potential customers.

A quick trip to google later I found that our friend Joe Syverson is both a Multi-Level Marketing/Recruiting mastermind and a motivational speaker. Images of Tom Cruise in Magnolia raced thru my mind. I had to get more information. I should have stopped while I was ahead.
In the next thirty minutes or so of my life was filled with cheap copy and clicktrap style websites:

freshinterviewsdotcom which I believe is Mr. Syversons website is littered with all the usual hoopla that you find on these types of sites.
Be you own boss...
Let me show you the secrets to success...
my favorite quote:
"Discover the Secrets to have complete power and control over others without using any apparent force."
apparently Joe Syverson is also a Jedi Knight.

On Aaronrakindotcom I find the following tired, used, trite motivational quotes.

"I actually failed my way to success."..."But this is not about me; it's about you and how you can do the same things, if you wanted to badly enough......Already thousands have profited tremendously from this never heard before information!......Again, congratulations for visiting my website and having the courage to follow your dreams and goals, right to the top of your own Success Mountain!"

goldenmastermindseminars picks up the trail of Mr. Syverson again, here he is promoting the work of one of his "mentors" no doubt Jeffrey Combs. Golden Mastermind Seminars is plastered with the phrase:"You deserve to have it all! and More heart than Talent"

All of these site promise secret knowledge and vast riches for the average joe if they are just willing to commit, work hard. They all rely heavily on canned "success" phrases and heavily relying on the "you" vs "I" and active voiced writing. The other thing that they all have in common is asking you at somepoint; usually after they have given you some crap for free, is to fork over anywhere from 19.95 to 2000 bucks for a training cd, book, seminar, coaching...whatever the hell you wanna call it.

Folks the money isn't made selling products or even signing up more downline marketer.

The money is in the training
materials that you "must" by to learn the "secrets" that the "masters" all have.

Please don't be a douchebag....say no to MLM if you want to annoy your friends and monetize your network...at least have some self respect....sell life insurance!
