INDEPENDENCE
MAY 23
Suspicious activity. Someone reported a suspicious vehicle being driven back and forth with its lights turned off on the 6100 block of Drake Drive. Officers located four individuals, including one carrying a plastic tub of pink flamingos, who said they were placing the pink flamingos on behalf of their church in the yards of people who had donated money for the church's mission trip. Officers contacted the homeowner, who confirmed that he had given money for the mission trip.
F*ck the Police! Always trying to keep a church mission trip down.
Douchebag of the Day - Lance Armstrong
Wed, 06/15/2011 - 13:28 — ryanolToday's resurrection of DOTD is brought about by an email from loyal reader John P. he wanted everyone to know about the douchebaggery that surrounds the seven time Tour-de-France winner. Now I could have put him up years ago for multiple infractions: wearing Oakleys, leaving his longtime wife, dating Sheryl Crow, being named Lance...the list of douchey activities goes on and on.
But apparently now Lance has kicked it up a notch, threatening and intimidating potential witnesses. That's some cold blooded d-baggery.
According to Hamilton’s version of events at the restaurant, Armstrong repeatedly asked Hamilton how much he had been paid to appear on '60 Minutes' and that the Texan’s legal team will "(expletive) destroy you," "tear you apart on the witness stand," and "make your life a living (expletive) hell.

Bye Bye T-Mobile - Why I switched
Sat, 08/28/2010 - 14:00 — ryanolJust thought I'd publish a little breakdown of the reasoning that led me a loyal (6 yrs) customer of T-Mobile to switch over to the iphone and AT&T.
* Step one: Court early adopters and then completely leave them swinging in the wind. Back around this time about two years ago I was super excited, this brand spanking new open source software was being introduced to the mobile world: Android. I was on board from the get-go, signed up early and received the phone in November. I was in love, in fact I still love Android but unfortunately T-Mobile must not. One after another I saw Verizon, Sprint and Att advance the mobile phone market, while T-mobile came out with sh*tty variants like the mytouch3g and the like. What a bummer and a total inertia killer - nice move T-Mobile.
