Weblebrity Reality Show- with the writers strike look for either a Justin.tv style show or possibly a reality show shadowing a webpreteneur such as Kevin Rose or Jason Calacanis.

Mobile Social Networks Rise- People finally realize that a text message/gps based social network like dodgeball or plazes is a better solution to actually interact with friends.

People realize that many of their "Friends" are merely acquaintances.

American Gladiator Fails- I know....shocker.

Google purchases FCC bandwidth and builds a wireless broadcast channel for Youtube.

Google enters the transactional market (visa/mc).

T-mobile drops all lines except Sidekick and Blackberry- do any of the other cell phones actually sell.

Economy Tanks Heavily-
with the subprime mess, and american consumers overextended on their credit cards; the Dow hovers around 13,000 till June 08.
